ksbateau Posted September 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2004 My husband and I booked a cruise on JOS for spring break 2005 with another couple. We are getting balcony rooms next to each other. This is our 2nd cruise. On our last cruise (Carnival Miracle) we were able to get the partition between the two balconies opened which was a great little perk to have. Anyone know if this is possible on this class of ships? We are 7th deck aft. Thanks!:)
Erie Dave Posted September 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2004 I am pretty sure the dividers don't open on the Radiance class ships.
Bookit Posted September 15, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2004 Just curious -- we are booked on Jewel of the Seas around the latter part of April ... when is your Spring Break cruise? (as I try to avoid those  ) Thanks.
madforcruising Posted September 15, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2004 Balcony dividers on the side balcony´s on the Jewel are not created to be opened. Can´t tell about the aft., but I doubt that they are designed to be opened.

PattiKake Posted September 17, 2004 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2004 We just returned from the Jewel Transatlantic and had a cat JS that was a connecting room and the balcony divider did open creating one large balcony. If you can book connecting cabins I'm sure the divider will open also. Pat
wblynch Posted September 17, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Don't know if this means anything but on the Serenade last month we were in a connecting balcony cabin. There was no practical way to open the partition. It was definitely designed to stay permanently fixed in place.
