Hi all, going on SOS Feb 5 room # 7550 and deck plan shows the balcony is the last one before it juts out for the 'fore' section on starboard side. Was wondering if anyone knows if this affects view to the left or down due to the lifeboats. Many thanks.

I can tell you from experience on the Radiance that the balcony views on the seventh deck are all blocked by the "Over hang Ledge" that covers the lifeboats under it. Everyone on these boards were complaining about not seeing the water[\i] from their balconies, but I didn't think it was so bad.

If you get a kick out of looking straight down at the foam of the water rushing by as the ship goes 20+ knots, then you should go higher to the 9th or 10th deck. You won't see that on the seventh or eighth, but that's about the only thing that is "view-blocked". We loved the larger balcony and everything else about ANY balcony room.

Hope This Helps.
