oshkosh1 Posted January 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2008 Does anyone have a menu or a link to a menu of wines that are available by the glass in the dining room? We are wondering both about the selection and the prices. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Barbee524 Posted January 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2008 You can order wine by the glass. However, I suggest if you don't mind drinking the same wine for a couple of days you buy a bottle and have your waiter store it for you. There is a list in the Gifts and Gear section on the RCI website.

Paul Posted January 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2008 We ordered 3 glasses of red wine on the liberty and it cost $23.00, a bottle cost about $33.00, you do the math.

Thunderwoods Posted January 17, 2008 #7 Share Posted January 17, 2008 I will testify that by the glass will definitely add up in the end...learned that the hard way:(
critterchick Posted January 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted January 17, 2008 Thanks for the great idea. It does make more sense to buy by the bottle rather than by the glass. Actually, it doesn't on RCI. They tend to price their wines so that 4-5 glasses equals the price of the bottle. The bartenders usually have a generous hand, so you would come out ahead, price-wise, by the glass. This assumes, of course, that you like the available selection.

We were just discussing this very topic in another wine-related thread. You don't really benefit price-wise by buying a bottle.
Gonzo70 Posted January 17, 2008 #10 Share Posted January 17, 2008 You probably end up paying more for the bottle as you are for more likely to endulge in a second glass if you have purhcased the bottle and the waiter comes buy to replenish your glass than you are to order a second glass if you purchased the first by the glass. I can make a bottle go ten glasses or two glasses (I like big glasses), so that really won't compute for goobers like me.:D
