tbjr Posted January 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2008 I'm wondering if recent Cunard passengers recall if there were any No Limit Texas Hold'Em Poker tables in the casino? If so, how many tables were there? What were the stakes? Were there tournaments? If so, when did they hold these and what was the entry fee? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks. They have one limit hold'em table. Three dollar/six dollar table stakes. All the amateurs will be there. I think the have eight seats. Good luck, Paul
yojimbo Posted January 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2008 On a recent QM2 cruise, there was one poker table with ten seats. 4-8 limit
tbjr Posted January 18, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted January 18, 2008 I was speaking with a customer service representative from Cunard today so I asked them this question. They confirmed that Texas Hold'Em was a game played in the Casino (they weren't sure if it was Limit or No Limit). They also weren't sure what the stakes were. I was surprised when they mentioned that casino dealers and/or supervisors will often lower or raise the stakes at a player's request for these games. Thanks for the feedback.
