I would email Guest Relations. Sometimes they have some strange rules and you don't want him to be disappointed at the last minute if he isn't allowed to take it.

We are just off the Liberty, and saw 2 guys that brought their fishing poles. One even had his tackle box with him. He was fishing off the pier where the ship docks when we were in Tortola. We saw him again on the morning we were dis-embarking. He told us about some big fish he had caught but had to let go since you can't bring it back onboard with you. Lol!! :p

Thank you. DH can live with that. LOL. When we go fishing we throw them back in anyway.

Have you checked into the non-resident fishing laws of your various ports. I do not know, but he is possibly inviting a huge fine.
