Just back from Sheraton and Wyndham

DreDay

Recommended Posts

We visited both of these places on Jan. 11 I am so glad that we did!!! It was an awesome day. We purchased our wristbands at the Sheraton. We paid $15 for adults and $7.50 for children. We stayed on the little beach, which is more live a cove, at the Sheraton for a while, then moved to the Wyndham. Towels were provided to us at the towel station by the pool slide.

There are jetskis, snorkeling, bananna boats, etc available at the Wyndham. I did see yellow tube floaties at the towel station at the Sheraton but we did not get one. I am pretty sure they were available just like the towels to use for no charge.

There is a restaurant right at the Sheraton. It's a little pricey and the food is just okay. But hey, it's very convenient.

We really loved our day at both of these places!!

Just an FYI, we took the jitney #10 and it was a great. I did have some trouble locating one at first, but just ask and people will lead you right where you need to go.

Did you prefer one place over the other? We will be in Nassau in April and trying to figure out what to do. I had heard about the Wyndham, but not the Sheraton. We are looking for a place to just lounge for the day...a nice beach and good facilities (pool, bar/restaurant). ALso, did you have to pay at both places or did the wrist band at the Sheraton work at the Wyndham too? My in-laws like to gamble...did either hotel have a casino? Thanks!

did they have any water trampolines or anything for the teens to be entertained with?

How long was the bus ride?

There were no water trampolines. There were water bikes, snorkling equipment, boogie boards and the Wyndham has a waterslide at their pool.

It takes 10-15 minutes to get their by bus. Buses come by frequently. Catch the #10 at Georges Street across the street from the Straw Market.

so all of these were free to use once you buy a day pass?

Are there changing rooms? Showers?

I might want to go to the casino after the beach (before going back to the ship) and it would be nice to change.

and do you know by chance what the age limit is for the casino

thanks

We spent most of our time at the Sheraton and they did have changing room and showers.
