Need help - shopping in Grand Cayman? Also, activities for kids?

I tried using the search engine this morning, but it wasn't working, so please indulge me a few questions that might have been answered before :rolleyes: . We are a family group with kids (8 & 11), grandparents with some mobility issues, adults and teens. My kids don't want to do stingray city, although I have done this on a previous cruise and loved it! You can't convince them that it is safe because of poor Steve Irwin (their personal hero). They enjoyed the Ardastra Zoo in the Bahamas last year. My mom LOVES shopping. If memory serves me, there is shopping right when you get off of the tender? Where is the best place to save a little money on Coach, perfume, etc. We don't want to rent a car because of the size of the group. Public transportation (taxi) would be best. Any suggestions for what to do for the day? Thank you very much!
