San Juan family tips

Just off the Crown Princess and here are my tips for San Juan with kids. Hope it helps someone.

San Juan tips with kids: In San Juan wander the Fort Morro and fly a kite. If you have a National Park Pass entrance is free, if not it’s cheap like $3 for adults. San Cristobal has tunnels and dark dungeon like rooms which are fun to explore, much smaller and I think both are worth visiting. Try the local ice cream stands, they have homemade tropical ice cream flavors, there is a free trolley in the Old San Juan area , just ask anyone or look at the signs. If you are there over Christmas through mid Janurary try to see the lights. They are along the Paseo de Princesa and La Forteleza is gorgeous. Several of the plazas and squares also have displays. If it’s not that time of the year it is still beautiful to walk the walls, see the fountains and in some of the squares feed the pigeons. I found people to be very friendly.
