Adventure of the Seas fore, aft or hump cabins questions

Recommended Posts

We have always sailed in the aft, but this year when we sail on AOS we will sail on a hump cabin. I'm not sure what is best. I think the rooms in the middle are better for people who get seasick because there is less rocking. And if you get seasick book low in the ship and in the middle and you'll be fine. Also if you get an aft cabin you get a bigger balcony. Just remember that the lower the deck in the back all those people above you can look down on you. Good luck planning and happy cruising!

Thinking of booking a cruise on the AOS. What are the best fore or aft balcony cabins?

What are the merits of the hump cabins?:)

Hi,

This is a picture of the Mariner and the Hump cabins on one side of her. Port Side.

As you can see they bow out from the ship. These cabins are the same size as any other cabin in their category and most of them have the same size balcony. Only a few of them on certain areas of the hump have a larger balcony. On the Radiance class ships especially, there are hump cabins with bigger balconies. These cabins are in a great location, have a great view, have totally private balconies because you are out further from the ship than all others, are near the elevators and the stairs, and yet there is no extra noise because of that. ;)

The center Hump cabins are the prime choice with the best views. ;)

1620 is the Royal Suite. Someone marked it wrong.

The hump cabins have a FABULOUS location -- near the stairs and elevators closer to the back of the ship. We were in 6618 (center of the hump) and LOVED it!! We were just one flight of stairs above the Promenade and our dining room. And there is NO extra noise from the stairs or the elevators.....you are NEAR them, but not next to them.
