Snorkel Wrecks on our own???

We took our kids to the Wreck of the Gamma last month while staying in Grand Cayman. It was their first time snorkeling in years, so we wanted something fun, but simple. This was perfect. The Wreck had a lot of fish. Closer to shore, to the right as you are looking from the water/wreck towards shore, there was good coral. You need water shoes to enter the water. We parked at Burger King and walked down a bit passed the small cemetery. (btw this is NOT Cemetary Beach, which is on the other end of SMB and has excellent snorkeling) There are signs for public entrance to the beach. The beach area is in front of condos, but ALL beaches on Grand Cayman are public.

This site gives good directions and pics for snorkeling spots around the cruise terminal. All within walking distance from the ships. Have fun!!
