I have to say ALWAYS fly 1 day before the cruise. Lets play what if. No bad weather, everythings a go. Then in the pilots pretrip check he fines something wrong. The flight is cancelled. Now there is another flight in2 hours, BUT you will only be a standby passenger to get on that flight. And so it goes on all day like that. Airtran will be hearing 117 people all telling there reason why they need to get there first. So your needing to get to a cruise ship won't matter to them. But back to your question. The cheapest way to the port from FLL is Tri-rail. Take the tri-rail bus from the airport to the train station. The train to MIA. Then a cap from the MIA tri-rail station to the port. Ask the cab to stop at a Walgreens or something. Tri-rail will cost 3.00$ dollars a head and cab will be 20.00$ dollars. For a grand total of 29.00$ plus tip for stopping. Fine the train at http://WWW.Tri-Rail.com down load a time table so you know what train to catch.
