Has anyone ever done the "power snorkel" offered by carnival? Did you enjoy it? What was the cost?

One of the women in our group did it and loved it. She said it was really easy to use and you could really get around with it.

I did not do the carnival, but have rented a similar thing elsewhere.

 

Pros: It is fun, and can help you 'dive' to get lower, quicker. You really move through the water.

 

Cons: You move so fast, you kind of miss everything worth seeing.

 

So if you are in the mood for a bit of a thrill, go for it.

If you are a snorkel/fish lover, you will find it distracting.

 

I rented it for an hour, used it about 30 minutes, floated about 30.

 

If you dont want to do the carnival excursion, they rent them in Freeport at the Devils spot.
