When will Celebrity announce changes to a cruise

Not to sound sick or anything, but what if the Cayman Islands are not ready will they add another port or just another day at sea?

they will wait untilthe last minute, all contingent on what the Government of Grand Cayman tells them conditions are and also rely on input from their agent in the Grand Caymans. If they cannot dock, then they will look for an optional port (don't forget, there are lots of ships out there and not all ports can handle overflow. They will try to accomodate you with an alternative port but if nothing is avialable, then you get another day at sea.

Right about now, an extra day at sea would be just fine my me!

If you check X's web site you will see they update it 3 times a day showing any changes due to the hurricanes. It wasn't there a month ago and I suspect they will stop doing it when the season is over.
