buying wine?

We are staying at the Hampton Inn/Plantation one night pre-cruise in April. We won't have a car and I know there are restaurants close by but is there anywhere within walking distance that sells wine?

There's a Winn Dixie Supermarket and a Whole Foods Market nearby with decent wine selections. Check with the hotel staff for their recommendations.

There is also an Albertson's grocery store that has a full liquor store & is close to the Whole Foods market that Bequia mentioned. There is also a Crown Wine & Spirits that is in the same shopping center as the Whole Foods Market. Probably farther than you would want to walk, but would be a short cab ride & you could carry more that way!

Does your name have anything to do with the island of Bequia? We

stopped there when we were sailing in the Grenadines.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn by the cruise port - there is a Walgreens

next door & a Publix down the street. Do either sell wine - we can take

2 bottles on the ship.
