Cruise music

I agree with the Bob Marley option...or any other reaggea band.

Jammin' is nice for a start ;).

For a more relaxed option, maybe some Bossa Nova.

But of course, music is a matter of personal tastes, so my advise is to alse take the music you will normally listen to.

Regards

I'm looking for some cruise songs to load on my iPod, any suggestions?

I Love Shaggy, he has a Best of CD and you can download it as well which I love. Also love Older UB40 rounded off with some crazy new Reggae sung by a Jewish guy, Matisyahu. He has a Live CD/download called 'Live from Stubbs' I think it is, that is pretty good and fun.

I must say I was over Hot, Hot, Hot about 5 years ago LOL But to each his own :D Put any music you love to hear on there as well, just adds to the memories when you hear it once you are off vacation and back home, brings you right back to your cruise!

OK, I realize I really haven't listened to music on the radio since sometime in the 80's so my music tastes are not quite with it,:o but I'm a bit surprised no one mentioned Escape (The Pina Colada Song), Rupert Holmes. Anyway, this is a great thread, so please keep listing those songs, so I can at least update my IPOD for cruise mood music if nothing else.

DW and I being parrotheads of course will say anything Jimmy Buffett. Since this is under "Cruise Rituals" and the thread has to do with music, I will share our number one cruise ritual.

The last night of the cruise as we are packing up (a very sad time, I know), we get the iPod and speakers out and play Jimmy's "Lovley Cruise" Just seems to fit......

"I'm sorry it's ending, it's sad, but it's true. It's been a lovely cruise."
