Can anyone recommend a sitter?

I looked for a thread like this and didn't find anything recent:

If you've had a good sitter on board ship, would you mind sharing their name? We're going on Enchantment in Feb and think ds will not be able to do AO because she still has accidents. Would like to leave her with a sitter in the evenings and it would be great to get the name of a good babysitter someone else has used on board. I know it may not work out due to staff changes etc., but it's worth a try.

And maybe we can help someone else out, too, if people will post the names of sitters on other ships.

Thanks!

We're just back from the Enchantment and we had a good sitter experience. We wanted a sitter to come after we put our daughter to bed so we could go out and enjoy nighttime activities (OK, mostly the casino, LOL). After a couple of snafus with Guest Relations for the first night we requested (I went right away to GR to request a sitter for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th nights and they didn't get back to me, so I checked in with them the afternoon of the 2nd day, we were matched up with a lovely young woman named Shenial (I'm not sure I spelled that correctly). She was very timely and responsible and she got our daughter to bed the one time we could not get her to sleep before we left. During the day, she worked in the Solarium as a pool attendant and we visited her there, too.

It is good to get the name but I used sitters on Celebrity (girl from the front desk and a cabin stewardess) and they were great.

Don't worry- babysitting is something that the crew chooses to do for extra money. The same sitters are not always available but I wouldn't worry about the quality of care. It will work out fine. You do HAVE to go to sign up for a sitter the first day. I didn't have trouble but the first night none were available. They want 24 hours notice.
