Electronics Stores (Like Best Buy in the States)

Could anyone tell me if theres any Electronics Stores (Like Best Buy in the States) near the pier?? If not is there one in the city?? Also how far from the peir is it?? I thought maybe picking up a couple IPods if there was good prices on them.

Don't think so. You'd get a better price buying a refurb at the apple store

Sorry - there isnt a Best Buy in Cozumel... however if you go to the new Cineopolis Centre there are a couple of places that sell electronics. From memory I think they may have had ipods but I cant be 100% sure.

 

The first place is on the outside of Cineopolis. It's a bit like a huge Walmart.

 

The second place is inside the centre.

 

I cant remember the names of either shop but if you hop in a taxi and ask to go to Cineopolis you will find them. Will cost about $2 to get there from town.

I personally don't recommend buying electronics in the Caribbean. Prices are similar to the States (if that is where you are) and there is no way to exchange something if it decides to go out on you in a week.
