WASUP Posted September 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2004 we are sailing on the SPirit on 10-1, we upgraded for 100 each to a outside(picture window) from an inside. I then called TA and asked about a balcony, as a surprise for hubby....he said nothing left as far as balconies. My question is, should I try NCL directly?? Is it simply too late and they might not have any balconies, unless someone canceled. Can I say that we are interested and be placed on a wait list? Is there such a thing as standby on a cruise ship???? Thanks for her help
bruisersgrandma Posted September 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2004 I talked to NCL the other day and they said all they had left were II & C categories.
Rare insidecabin Posted September 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2004 I think there is some cabin shuffling going on because I tried to book (in the Uk) last tues(7) told it was full; Thurs(9) cabins were available but booked the Sun GTY inside instead got outside low deck. Even now both ships are showing up on some systems in the UK.
