Lanky Lad Posted January 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2008 Does anyone know anything about what voyages QV will be doiong in 2009? I hope she is doing more Southampton to Southampton. I cruise because I don't want to fly. :)
ocngypz Posted January 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2008 If Southampton rt to the Med, they'll have to be 14 nighters. I suspect we will see: Baltic, some type of Fire & Ice, Med, three weeks for Christmas/New Years. A Canary Islands trip would be nice, but who knows what they are thinking. Her longer itineraries right now are pretty slow sellers... the 7 nighters sold very well. What I hope Cunard will do is coordinate QM2's ta service better with QV's Europe itineraries, so non-flyers from this side of the pond would have more options for sailing in Europe. QueensFan Posted January 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2008 I'd bet that there'll be much more of QV in Soton in 2009. Keep in mind, QE2 is doing the Soton-Soton run right now...come 2009, when we are without her (:() it's very probable that QV will be moved in to fill that essential market. Which begs the question, what will be done with Queen Elizabeth (II) in 2010?

I guess that once QE comes on board that we'll have one based in the Med and one based round trip Southampton, thus covering both areas.
