Overhead Obstructed View

We just received our cabin assignment and although the deck plans don't show a lifeboat in front of the window, my TA said that it's an overhead obstruction. Can anyone tell me anything about this? Are we going to have any view at all?

Thanks!!

Star Princess, Cabin E715. Said it was a partially obstructed view but that it was from an overhang. I just wondered how "obstructed" this was going to be. Thanks for getting back to me!

The overhang is from the balcony cabins "deck" strutting out from the ship. Their room is directly overhead from yours. Their balcony extends out from the ship. Therefore your view upwards is restricted.

Here is a photo I "borrowed" from another thread showing (not too well) the overhang
