RCI-VISA-when to cash in points

We are doing the Panama Canal in late oct. Oct 26 how soon can I cash in my points? I want to get $300 of the cruise which will be 30,000 points.

I would let it build up more before cashing it in if you are not leaving until October. I cashed in our points less than a month before this cruise we are leaving for on Sunday. Points certificates expire 6 months after they are issued.

just to clarify....you have to REDEEM them within 6 months of the issue date.
