What are the best beaches in ST Thomas and does anyone know if any of them are within walking distance from the cruise ship pier ??

What are you looking for at the beach... snorkeling, diving, watersports, natural shade, food/drinks...?

 

Closest beach to WICO dock in Havensight is Morningstar, its a short drive.

 

Closest beach to Crown Bay dock is Emerald, you can walk it, its a little less than a mile, flat, sidewalk; or a short drive.

Islander-thanks for your input! I have been reading your recent posts! Very helpful! I would like to ask you what would be the least crowded, scenic beach that has good snorkeling? It must be pretty crazy when several cruise ships are in port. Thanks for all your input :)

Beaches with good snorkeling from shore are Sapphire, Coki, Secret Harbor, Cowpet.

 

The popular beaches with cruise passengers get the most crowded, they include Sapphire, Coki and Magens.

 

So, check out Secret Harbor or Cowpet. ;)
