tabbycat1 Posted January 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2008 I tend to get seasick & cannot swim- how big is the boat for the River Safarai? Is it covered to protect you from the sun? Do they supply life jackets?
Toyz711 Posted January 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2008 the ones from the NCL excursions are the photo i have attached. they go very fast, no...they may have life jackets, but you don't wear them during the tour. it's not far to the shoreline, not sure how deep it is. i found it very tame...just a really fun boat ride, with great views. we have room for the 29 on our tour, the tour guide, her assistant and the boat driver..with room to spare. the worse part of the day is the walking around the site, you have to be able to step over roots, walk uphill on uneven ground...but the site is SOOO worth it. saraisarai Posted January 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2008 They have life jackets on the back of the seat infront of you. No one on our boat wore them. The boat does go fast on the return but it is a smooth ride ---no bouncing up and then hitting the water. The trip was enjoyable!
