Copenhagen Airport To Marriott Then To Port

Can someone recommend the best way to get from CPH to the Marriott and then to the port the next day? What if we just come in the day of the cruise, are there any other choices besides taxi and ship transfer?

Any estimates of the cost of the taxi to Marriott or the port?

Thanks for any input.

Someone else might have a cheaper idea, but we decided that we don't want to haul our luggage all over Copenhagen. So, here is what we plan to do: There is a "left luggage" place at the airport, where you can leave your luggage for less than $10 per bag (per day). We will leave our big luggage there and take just small carryons to the hotel. We are also purchasing the CPH travel card, which covers all public transportation. The train station is very close to our hotel. On embarkation day, we will just return to the airport, collect our luggage, and have Princess transfer everything to the ship.

Last year we stayed at the airport Hilton. Was very convenient after a long flight to walk to our hotel (connected to the airport terminal), check into our rooms, freshen up, and then take the train into the city to see the sights. We purchased the CPH card so the train and entrance to Tivoli were free (with our card). Next morning we took a taxi from the hotel to the ship (3 of us, 8 pieces of luggage) in a van and the fare was about $50 USD.

You can take the train from the airport to the main train station. The, either walk about 10-15 min. to the hotel, or take a taxi after arriving at the main train station. Although a taxi driver might balk since the hotel is so close. Yet, if you have heavy luggage, you may not want to walk, even if it is close. That's basically the cheaper way to get to the Marriott from the airport. But in all honesty, the best and easiest is to take a taxi. It's really not that far of a drive, only about 15-20 min. Taxi also take credit cards.

From the hotel to the ship, definately taxi. Again, it's a short ride, about 10 min.

Have fun.
