specialty dining on freedom of the seas

i am booked for departure on 3-16-2008 trip and i am traveling with my daughter who is 11 years old. i just found out that she can not eat in chops or potrofinos ....she has to be at least 13yrs old.

do they check the ages of guest b4 allowing you to make reservations, because she is tall for her age and could pass for a 13 yr old.

One of the biggest complaints on this board is that RCI does not enforce its rules such as age limits. This includes the solarium especially. The age limit is 13 and I would hope you would respect that. I really don't know if they actually check.

Hope I don't get flamed for this.

I believe that some posters have indicated that the restaurants sometimes allow children under 13 to dine there if you make an early evening reservation. I suggest that both of you go to Chops or Portofino as soon as you board and inquire. If she is a mature 11, they may very well grant an exception to the age policy. Good luck.:)
