AEDEMS Posted January 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I have been on a cruise before but never to Canada which is where I am going in October. What should I bring to make the trip even better? :)
LOWTYD Posted January 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2008 We always pack a power strip because the ships may not have enough outlets. Seasick meds (bonine or dramamine..there are whole threads on what people reccomend so do a serch on that) The north Atlantic can get pretty nasty. Good walking shoes if you plan to walk around the ports. You didn't say where you were going but we did Halifax and St. Johns and did a lot of walking. CAMERA for all the beautiful pictures of the foliage. Have fun!

scuffell Posted February 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2008 Generally in October it is not too cold. A pair of light gloves might be a good idea as would a light scarf. You can't go wrong with a thick sweatshirt/hoodie as well. Fall is our best season as far as I am concerned!
