bermudabob Posted January 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Anyone familiar with the teen programs on the Summit for our 13 year old son?
kitty9 Posted January 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Depends on time of year. If you cruise when school is in session, there are very few, if any, school age kids on board. We just finished two X cruises within a month's time and for both cruises I would guess there were less than 25 school age kids combined between the two cruises. cruisebunny32 Posted January 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2008 I know that they do have teen programs and they are not as structured as the younger kids...allowing them more freedom. I do agree with last poster...it depends when you go. There had been a teen area on Connie and Millie...i would guess that Summit has it too. We had teens in our group in the past and they always made some friends. I am sure your teen will have good time! When are you sailing? We are on March 22 over Easter Break. Denham33 Posted January 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2008 We will be on the Summit 2/23 with our 15 year old son. Have been talking with others on the Roll Call, but only see 1 family with a 9 year old. Any other teens that week? Our niece is also sailing with us, but will turn 18 the week before sailing, so we're guessing she won't be able to participate in teen activities. I know they can hang out together without a program, but I'm sure my son will want to check out the teen program & offerings. He did fine 2 years ago on RCCL Legend of the Seas with few teens on board, so he'll be fine again. Just curious.
