Solarium Open on Alaskan Cruise?

Does anyone know if the Solarium is open to children during an Alaska cruise?

 

I believe it would be open because it's an indoor pool but the Solarium is usually adults only. Since the outdoor pools will most likely be closed, will the Solarium be open for children with adult supervision?

It was on the Serenade from 12-4 and they were very strict, not until the stroke of 12 and then shooed them all out at 4

 

There actually were kids swimming in the outdoor pool the first 2 two days, BRRRRRR!!!

Thanks Sue. We'll be on the Radiance so I hope they do the same thing. It will be nice if they can get at least one day of pool time during the cruise.

It was open to kids on our Alaskan cruise in 2005. But only during certain hours and the kids had to be accompanied by an adult at all times. The open air pools were also open and there were kids and adults swimming in them.

Thanks AMommyof2 - That is pretty much what I thought - specific hours accompanied by an adult. I suppose the outdoor pools are dependant on the weather.

They did it everyday I think, but some of the days of course we were in port all day. I would expect the Radiance does it the same way.

Radiance did the same thing on my Sept 07 cruises to AK.
