LilRhody Posted January 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Am starting to think about packing and am wondering how the laundry service is on the Spirit - in terms of service and cost. I'm seriously considering packing light and just sending stuff to the laundry after a few days.
Toyz711 Posted January 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2008 they do the "bag" special, but usually it's toward the end of the cruise. i don't have the price list. they have a 1st day pressing special. i packed shorts and light tops, things i could wash out if needed. for evenings i had a couple pairs of slacks with dressy tops/blouse. i have no problem wearing the same slacks more then once:eek: . a good spray of downey wrinkle releaser helps keep them looking good and smelling nice. odblnt Posted January 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Check out Electricron's post on this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=650079 It's from last summer, but might still be current. Pete

sduckwo Posted January 31, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2008 Does the Spirit have places to iron???
Don Haynes Posted January 31, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2008 No. You could ask your room steward to bring an ironing board. This should warrant an extra tip. I travel quite a bit in sales, and I prefer the travel steamers. I even use it at home, no longer using an obsolete iron. Just hand the clothes up on a hangar, something you were going to do anyway, and steam away the wrinkles. No burns with the hot iron, no fuss with the ironing board, simple as pie. awatt Posted January 31, 2008 #7 Share Posted January 31, 2008 They had the "fill teh bag for $20 special" last week. Filled the bag Wed AM and got clothes back Friday at turndown.
