travel07 Posted January 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2008 If you take a cab or shuttle to port of miami, do you say "take me to liberty etc?" or do you have to know exactly where in the port you are supposed to go? Last cruise we took the transfers, this year we will do our own.

Although I have not sailed from that port, all four ports I have sailed from I just said the name of the ship and the cabbie knew where to take me. BostonBud Posted January 29, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2008 We said we were going to the Port of Miami and the cab driver asked which ship we were going to.
Sue L Posted January 29, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2008 If you are within a mile or two you can see them, no problem finding the ship and the taxi drivers do this EVERY week so they know which ship docks where.

chrisv348 Posted January 29, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2008 We just sailed from the Port of Miami two weeks ago. You can see the different cruise ships as you enter the port so the cab drivers know exactly where to go and where to drop you off. I found it to be a very accomodating port for cruise ship guests.
