superdooooo Posted January 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2008 I just found out our cabin is under the dining room on the Elation. Anyone have any experience with these types of cabins? Luckily it's not under the galley, which I've heard can be noisy.
IWantToCruiseTheWorld Posted January 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2008 I just found out our cabin is under the dining room on the Elation. Anyone have any experience with these types of cabins? Luckily it's not under the galley, which I've heard can be noisy. We sailed on the Elation last August, and didn't hear a thing. On the Pride (August 2006), we had two cabins on the Panorama, just below the Mermaid Grille. Every morning, we could hear the dish bussing carts being rolled across the floor from the kitchen to their station(s). So, I think it depends on what activities are going on just above your cabin. superdooooo Posted January 30, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Thanks! I knew I could count on the great CC posters for a quick reply. We're under the Inspiration dining area near the back of the ship.

Other than that, there was no noise.
