4boysandus Posted January 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Has anyone been on the In-Focus photography tour excursion? We were wondering the specific places they bring you too, and what it is like? also, will there be time to go to other places on the island in the other half of the day while in port? thanks for any info!! saabgal Posted February 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Can you explain this tour? The title sounds interesting. Is it through a cruise ship? If so, which one? If not, how did you hear about it? Thanks.
4boysandus Posted February 2, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted February 2, 2008 It is through the Crown Princess, and is with a professional Bajan photographer named Ronnie Carrington. They bring you to out of the way places for photos and instruction. Sounds awesome, but I just wanted more deatils of where they bring you. It only listed 2 of the places, and there are other areas on the Island that I want to have time to see.
MaryPoppinz Posted February 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2008 I haven't taken this specific photography tour, but just a general comment on Princess' photography tours. I have registered for two different photo tours in the past when my husband was going to take a golf excursion. Both times, the tours were cancelled because the interest was low. So...have a plan B. :)
lg rover Posted February 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Cunard also offers this photo excursion, I have no idea about it just saw it available on our upcoming QM2 cruise.
Martin and Lindsey Posted January 31, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2011 I would really love to hear what people think of this tour. It sounds good but is expensive with only a few doing it, so I wonder if it is worth it. Someone?????
ming Posted January 31, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Ronnie Carrington hosts this tour and he always does a great job. You'll see many parts of the island and "should" have time to do something else when his tour is over (4-5 hours, I believe). Here's a little video to show what it's all about and some of the places you'll see: http://www.princess.com/learn/shorex/shorexvideo.jsp?shorexId=BGI-245 Most quite enjoy this tour.
