Cemetary Beach vs snorkeling by dive ship by cruise ships

We snorkeled a few year ago by the dive shop off to the right of the cruise ship pier. You walked into the water off the steps and went out about 100 ft. Water was very clear. You could see the cruise ships right there.

This time we are considering Cemetary Beach to snorkel.

Question - how would you compare the two places for snorkeling?

Thanks

hi..we have been to GC on both cruise ship and landbased....we go to the caribbean to snorkel.....every day.......when we stayed the week on the island we went to Cemetary beach and Eden rock..although CB was a very nice beach...the reef was a bit of a distance out not a problem for us as we are both strong swimmers.....but could be for someone not real comfortable in the water or small kids and was more like a patch reef.....it was nice but we spent the rest of the week at ED...... the reef there is one of the best we have ever snorkeled...we saw a huge variety of sealife.....we were so close to the cruises ships we could almost touch them.........we stayed south of georgetown at a dive resort called the Sunset House..we could see the cruise ships in port..we just jumped in at the Sunset House and snorkeled down to Eden Rock......I hope this rambling post helps.....we will be back in GC in 2 weeks on Grand Princess and I am looking forward to seeing that beautiful reef again....

yes it did. We have decided to stay by the cruise ships to snorkel then grab a cab and go to Seagrape for the rest of the day to relax in the sun. Thanks again.
