Liquor store by Hampton Inn in Ybor City?

Hi all,

We'll be taking a taxi from the airport in Tampa, and hoping to do a liquor store stop on the way in the cab to our hotel. Here is the hotel address:

Does anyone know if there is a good liquor store close by?

I visited the Hampton Inn this morning. I asked about a liquor store nearby and was told by the nice lady that there was one just down the street. I went to the address she said and it turns out that it was not a liquor store but rather a little market that sold wine & beer. Your best bet if you don’t have a car is to order from:

Total Wine & More - Tampa

1720 North Dale Mabry Highway

If you take a cab from the airport you can easily stop by Total Wine and they will have your order ready for you. Hampton Inn is a good choice. They are right in the heart of Ybor and right next to the trolley. They are also very close to the cruise terminals.:)

I went to their website, looking to do the online purchase option. However, I was only able to search for wine and liquor. Did you happen to see if they also sell beer (I am sure they should, just wanted to verify).

Yes. They do sell beer. In fact, they sell just about anything you would want. The prices are much, much, better than most places. This is where we buy our box wine. Buy the way, the Hampton Inn does have a shuttle to the cruise terminals.:)
