lola4795 Posted February 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2008 I like the idea of getting my room card punched. I would like to just attach it to a caribiner and put it on my belt loops. I know that I can take my card to a location where they can punch it for me, but it seems pretty easy to me to just throw a paper hole puncher in my bags. Would one of those do the trick, or do I need something a little more heavy duty?
Marlissa Posted February 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2008 You could always test it out on an old/nonused credit card. I think you'd need a heavy duty type hole punch.

kodiaknurse Posted February 2, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2008 I used/brought the standard 1 hole punch from home and it was sufficient. Sue
silkhair1 Posted February 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2008 I think the hole punch you bring would work. The one they use it not much bigger. I think it is a good idea too.

Interesting idea, but I had to look up what a caribiner is!:o

hobbshadow Posted February 2, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Rather than testing your hole puncher on a credit card, a hotel key card should work as a test also. That is about the same thickness as the cabin key (if not the exact same)
niki1785 Posted February 2, 2008 #9 Share Posted February 2, 2008 we use a pocket knife to cut a slit in it and then attach it to a keychain. works everytime :)
