where to stay on the way

We cruise out of Miami on February 16. We are driving down from Maryland and will get to Florida the day before. We don't want to stay in Miami. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we should stay? We would like to be an hour or less from the port. Thanks for any help.

I would suggest looking a little further down the main page to the "ports of call" Usa ports, and florida departures.

 

There will be lots of info in that area addressing your question. AND that is where people in the area will be able to give you the best info.

Key Largo. It's about an hour from the port.

When we go we always stay in Fort Lauderdale at Courtyard Fort Lauderdale North/Cypress Creek. We have stayed there now 3 or 4 times and been very

happy.
