Not sure what you are wanting, but there is a nice B&B in Civitavecchia called Casamica. If you do a search on the internet, it should show up. Also another hotel recommended on this website has been Hotel Triano (?). Those would put you close to the port for just the one night stay, and I believe they both do transfers to/from the airport and to/from the pier.

 

As for the two nights post-cruise in Rome, again not sure what you are looking for. www.venere.com and www.tripadvisor.com are two good sites to look for hotels and reviews. I've chosen a hotel run by nuns close to the Vatican for 72 EUR per night (right now about $113) then plan to use the ho ho bus to get around Rome, as it stops at the Vatican. Domus Aurelia is the hotel name, again if you do an internet search it comes up easily.

 

A lot of other postings on this website if you do a search for Rome hotels, there are recommendations from $200 to $600 per night. So you have to decide what is best for you. I didn't want to spend that kind of money in addition to the food, transportation and excursions.
