Taxi or Shuttle?

We have 4 adults and 2 4-year olds in our group. What will be the best and most affordable way to get from Port Everglades to the Ft Lauderdale Airport?

I'm guessing 3 of us per taxi will be cheaper than $12 each person on a shuttle. What do you all think?

We just did this 2 weeks ago. There were 3 of us and we grabbed a cab and were at the Pier within 10-15 minutes. Cost was $16. plus tip. With a group your size you will need 2 cabs. Still more cost effective than the shuttle.

ENJOY!!

Not only is a cab cheaper, it's quicker. First cruise we used the shuttle and had to wait in line 15-20 to board the shuttle bus, then had to wait 15-20 minutes more for the bus to fill up. I'm sure after traveling, the little ones will be tired, and it's usually hot. Cabs are very plentiful at the airport and the pier. We will always just get a cab from now on.
