zip lines st maarten

It is definitely exciting enough for older teens. I did it, and I am a lot older than a teenager! It is mainly an obstacle course with some zips thrown in. You are not high off the ground, and you DO need to be somewhat physically fit to do it. We were all sweating at the end, as it is hard work to climb your way through. My kids (10 and 13 at the time) said it was the highlight of the trip.

We did it on our own and it was great. We rented a car at the dock (reserved ahead of time) and were away from the pier in less than 30 minutes. The drive to Lotterie Farms was easy, and we did the zip line and were leaving as the shore excursion groups began arriving. They don't ask you if you are on a ship when you show up, and if you arrive early enough they will take you right up. We saved a ton of money and had time to enjoy crepes in town and a beach club for the afternoon. By the way, my 13-year old dd thought it was the greatest thing ever. My husband was exhausted!
