phantomoz Posted February 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Hi all took some searching, but here is a weather radar link for the pacific. Thought you may all find useful. I see the cyclone is moving away (phew!) which is good for our cruise starting saturday. http://www.met.gov.fj/loops/tv1-loop.html Cheers Rick
LouLou28 Posted February 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Thanks for that link! Great stuff! Yes good the cyclone is moving away (pity those travelling back to NZ on the Star though --- they may be finding things a little bumpy .... again!) Georgeo Posted February 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Hi all took some searching, but here is a weather radar link for the pacific. Thought you may all find useful. I see the cyclone is moving away (phew!) which is good for our cruise starting saturday. http://www.met.gov.fj/loops/tv1-loop.html Cheers Rick Thank you for the link Rick. I have been trying to understand the marine forecasts from the Met Office! This link is much easier. We sail on the Star out of Auckland on Wednesday and are hoping we may only get the tail end of it, as we leave. With any luck, we will have a calm crossing, a bit of a rarity on the Star recently.
