Norwegian Dawn

Use NCLs deck plan web pages for the Dawn. Select the deck that you are on and locate your cabin number. This deck layout has the front of your ship toward your right, so Port is the top and Starbord is the bottom.

here is the link to the Dawn deck layout on the NCL site:

When on the ship, I have heard it said on this forum that you can tell which way is forward by the direction of the fish in the hallway carpet -- the fish swim forward.

Not sure if you meant this, but just in case:

Your cabin probably has a 4 or 5 digit number. The first digit (or two, if it's a 5 digit number) indicates the deck. The next digit will be either 0 or 1, or 5 or 6. If it's 0 or 1 that means it's on the starboard side (right hand side when you're facing forward on the ship). If it's a 5 or 6 that means it's on the port side (left hand side when you're facing forward). The last three digits (the first of which will be either 0, 1, 5, or 6 and indicate port or starboard, as explained) point to your specific room. The lower that final three digit number, the closer your cabin is to the bow (front) of the ship.

So 10580 means Deck 10, port side, and cabin number 580 (which is probably a little bit forward of amidships -- the center of the boat). A number like 11004 means Deck 11, starboard side, cabin number 004 (which is way forward).
