mw12010 Posted February 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Will be in Aruba on Sunday April 6th. My understanding is Aruba is kind of quiet on Sunday's. Wanted to do an island tour on the Kuku...something, some kind of party bus that was recommended to us. But I hear they don't operate on Sunday's Any recommendations for a group of adults that wanna have fun??:p Thanks in advance:)
Janan Posted February 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2008 The last time I was in Aruba on a Sunday...was about 12 years ago...and at that time IT WAS DEAD! Now on my last visit ('07), Aruba has been built up tremendously and although I wasn't there on a sunday, it's probably safe to say you'll find something to do. My suggestion would be to find a friendly cab driver (12 years ago it was alot harder...they'll greet you as you leave the ship now) and ask them "what would you do for fun on a sunday?" Bet you'll get some great Answers!:D Enjoy your trip! Andy
soos1 Posted February 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Part of the reason its so quiet is because Aruba is a mostly Catholic island, therefore the stores aren't open on Sunday- most of them at least. we found ourselves wandering around with nothing to look at..... might be a good day to book a tour or something, that doesn't involve shopping....
