Grand Cayman Time Crunch

The Century will be arriving in Grand Cayman around 7AM, and I have a reservation with Native Ways for the Rays, Reef and Rum Point excursion. Do I need to worry about making this 9:00AM connection? Sorry if this is a repeat question.

It's going to depend on your ship and your tender situation. Last week our ship arrived @ 7 a.m. and tenders were leaving before 7:30. The bigger ones held more than 300 people, so it seemed that they were calling tender numbers left and right, in addition to all the people who had booked excursions through the ship. My husband was way early for his 9 a.m. scuba excursion.

I had an 8:30am excursion on GC last week (waves to ShipsandDipper, btw... you never know what's gonna happen on the cruise-uh, as they say. ;) ), and our excursion ticket told us to be in the main theater (Caribbean Lounge on the Carnival Victory) at 7:45 am, to go to our tender.

We actually saw the Century while we were there! They were "parked" next to us. Heh.

I can't speak for Celebrity, but Carnival had it all together to made sure you made your excursion on time. ;)

Yep, I recognized that avatar (I'm DenverDi on the S&D boards). Kind of funny that the only people to reply to this thread were on S&D!:D

Just to make it clear, my husband had an independent reservation, not a ship's excursion. If you do a ship's excursion, they'll make sure you make it on time.
