snorkler Posted February 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Just A Quick Question....as Far A I Can See I Wasnt Charged The Fuel Charge On Our Cruise. We Booked On 2/17 And Put The Entire Charge On Our Credit Card. Do They Put The Fuel Charge On Your Bill When You Are On The Ship? Or Is It Suppose To Be Charged Before We Leave? We Are Leaving Tomorrow And I Dont Want To Get To The Port And Have A Problem.

It was only added to new bookings and bookings with deposit only; not to bookings that were paid in full prior to the announcement of the fuel surcharge. Sue L Posted February 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Totally misread it, ditto on what Gonzo said.
robtulipe Posted February 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2008 If you paid off your cruise completely before Nov.16/07,the date RC announced the fuel surcharge, you didn't have to pay it even if your cruise left after Feb.1/08 start date for this. Canadian who booked through a Cdn.TA or directly with RC before Nov.16 also don't pay the surcharge. I think UK bookings also had a similar exemption if booked before Nov.16/07.
