Laid back in Barbados

Since I think I'll have a pretty tiring day in St. Lucia one day prior, I'd like for my lady and I to have a laid back day in Barbados. To this end, I'm interested in a 3 hour tour on one of the Catamarans I've read about. This one ends early enough that we could hit a beach for a little bit before heading back to the ship.

 

Could I do it in reverse though? Is there a nice beach (with trees, etc., not the Boatyard) where we could go and lounge and wait for some lady/fellow to approach us and offer us to sail out and swim with some turtles?

 

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm getting some great info for my upcoming cruise from fellow posters. Thanks in advance.:)
