mikeap Posted April 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Hello, Can someone advise me of a good beach to snorkel from that the reef is close in? I've read posts about Fosters, the Mayan Princess, and Tabyanna. Some some of the posts make it seem that the reef is very far off shore and takes a while to get there. Is this true? I would be comfortable with 100 yards ar less, as my wife will probably prefer to sit on the beach and read. Mike
rebeljohn Posted April 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2004 Mike.....We went to the Paradise Lost Resort, and found great snorkeling there. The blue channel is there, and was about 100 yards from shore. Most of the reefs looked to be about 100-150 yards from shore in a lot of places. The Bay Island Beach resort, where Spooky Channel is, has reefs close to shore also.
