Car Rental Questions- Port Canaveral

We are looking into renting a car to spend some time in Orlando after our cruise. Does anyone know which car companies will pick you up at the pier?

I know that Avis does. The website says that they pick up every 15 minutes. I have a car reserved with them for our return in March. They also offer a pick up confirmation (you give your return date/time and cruise ship info) and they say they will be there to pick us up.

I actually rented a car at the orlando airport with Thrifty (very cheap- especially for a Jeep!) spent some time in Orlando then drove down to Port Canaveral dropped the car off- they took us to the port. Then when we got off the cruise we got picked up by Thrifty at the port taken to their rental site and got our car and went back to Orlando and then dropped it off at the airport.

I went with thrifty but i also saw hertz and budget. I think thrifty has the best price

We just got back and did budget... It was great service for the shuttle to and from the pier. The woman who works at the desk is not very friendly but if you can get past that Budget was fine.

We had no trouble with Budget - and were upgraded for free from a cheapy economy to a Jeep Liberty...
