bzv143 Posted February 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Help--will be traveling on Brilliance of the Seas this summer out of Barcelona--will a 10 AM flight home be possible on the morning of arrival back in Barcelona?
GMoney Posted February 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2008 It's doable. I disembarked Brilliance in June and was at the BCN airport by 730am. For it to work, you'll need for the ship to dock on time, and you will need to do self debarkation. No customs / immigration to worry about coming off the ship. Taxis can be in short supply, so the early departure is key. The taxi ride is about 30 min, give or take. You will of course have to clear security and immigration at the airport. I had little to no wait, but those lines can go wrong. If it was me, I'd do it in a second, but just keep in mind there's some risk. It's a great cruise - enjoy! CruzinSuz Posted February 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Did the Brilliance in October and it's a fantastic cruise...Barcelona is wonderful, wish we'd spent more time there...I agree with GMoney on the logistic's. We didn't have any problem getting a cab immediately...just make sure you've got a back up plan! Good luck and enjoy!

bridedoll1026 Posted February 11, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2008 I'm in the same spot in October! The ship is supposed to be in port by 6AM. So I figure that we should be off by 7:30. In any event, we have travel insurance, so we should be covered if there is a delay.
