nrunnion Posted September 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2004 Has anyone been in touch with RCCL about excusions for your eastern carib cruises? I was told last week that the excusions would be available this week for Nassau and St. Thomas. Today, I am told that we can't purchase them until we board the ship. Does anyone else know anything? geri west Posted September 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2004 I purchased our October 17, eastern Mariner a couple of weeks ago using their website. We are doing the "best of St. Martin" excursion.
nrunnion Posted September 20, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted September 20, 2004 Were you able to book on St. Thomas and Nassau?
mcfaddensfarm Posted September 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2004 I am going to be on the Eastern sailing of the Mariner on 10/3/04. I have already booked all of my excursions. I didn't book one through the ship for St Thomas (we're doing that one independently), but booked one for Nassau & St Maarten with no problem. In fact, they've been available to purchase for quite awhile now. I may be completely off base, but maybe it has something to do with the recent storms in the Eastern Caribbean. Since there have been so many, maybe they've decided to postpone the ability to book online until they know for sure if your cruise will have the same ports. I guess just keep trying to get an answer from RCCL. nrunnion Posted September 21, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted September 21, 2004 Was not able as of today to get anything for Nassau. It says they are gathering info. What I wanted to know is the dolphin encounter offered. I know that you might not have chosen it but was it offered? Thanks
