Bus to Wyndam Hotel

We are planning to get the day pass at the Wyndam while in Nassau. I read on a site that the buses run much less frequently on Sundays (which is when we're there). Can anyone comment on how long they waited for a bus? Also, how far is it from the pier to catch the bus?
